New Jersey saw some severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon that brought lots of rain to the western parts of the state.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures should drop overnight and scattered rainstorms are possible.
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Hunterdon, Morris, Sussex and Warren counties.
Wednesday is expected to be mostly cloudy with thunderstorms possibly developing later in the day. High temperatures could reach 86 degrees.
Thursday should see a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures reaching the mid-80s.
