New Jersey should see mostly cloudy skies for the remainder of Monday.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says scattered rain is possible for parts of the state Monday evening and Tuesday should see significant rain.
Monday saw temperatures in the low to mid-80 for most of the day. Temperatures are expected to cool into the low 70s for the overnight hours.
Tuesday will likely see strong thunderstorms for the morning and evening hours. Curren says the worst of the storms could be around the morning and evening commutes.
Storms should clear out by Wednesday morning. Wednesday should see partly sunny skies with temperatures reaching the mid-80s.
Thursday should see mostly sunny skies with temperatures reaching 84 degrees.
