Rainstorms are developing across New Jersey this evening.
The National Weather Service has issued flood advisories for most of the state, effective through the evening hours.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the storms could bring wind damage and lots of lightning. Temperatures during the overnight hours are expected to only cool slightly to around 70 degrees.
The rainstorms are expected to continue into Tuesday, which will bring the chance of a thunderstorm. Temperatures for Tuesday should reach the mid-80s. Storms should clear by the overnight hours.
The rain is expected to clear for Wednesday with mostly sunny skies and highs near 80 degrees.
