Police: 2 men charged with criminal coercion in Wayne after trying to sell stolen passport, social security card
Police say a man rang the doorbell of a home on Chopin Drive and told the resident that he had his passport and social security card in his car and demanded $1,000 to give it back.

Two men from Newark were arrested last week in Wayne for trying to sell back a passport and social security card to their rightful owner.
Police say they responded to a call of criminal coercion on Feb. 19 at a residence on Chopin Drive which was burglarized a few months ago. They say a man rang the doorbell and told the resident that he had his passport and social security card in his car and demanded $1,000 to give it back.
Authorities say officers arrived and saw two men sitting in a parked vehicle in front of the residence. They say the homeowner pointed the two men out as the suspects.
While questing the men, police say the driver admitted that he had the homeowner's documents after purchasing them through Telegram. Police say those documents were reported stolen in the previous burglary. They said a stolen handgun and drugs were also found in the car.
Police arrested the driver Wahid Floyd, 29, and the passenger Alquadir Ali-Jones, 24. Both of the men face multiple charges, including criminal coercion, conspiracy, receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of a handgun.
