New Jersey first lady Tammy Murphy spoke with News 12’s Kurt Siegelin about the upcoming “Jersey 4 Jersey” event to raise money for the COVID-19 relief effort.
The New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund announced the one-night broadcast fundraiser to fight the impact of the virus on New Jersey’s most vulnerable communities. It will feature such icons as Tony Bennett, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Whoopi Goldberg, among others.
“The first two artists on board were Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen. When they said, yes…they reached out to other artists and helped me to fill this out,” Murphy said. “And we’re just fortunate…there’s so much Jersey pride out there.
The show will air Wednesday at 7 p.m. and will air on News 12 New Jersey and other stations.
