WalletHub puts New Jersey at No. 18 on list of 2022's Best & Worst States to Have a Baby

WalletHub has come out with its list of 2022's Best & Worst States to Have a Baby, and New Jerey ranked 18th.
WalletHub came out with the rankings based on 32 key points, including health care accessibility and costs such as delivery charges to infant care.
The average birth costs a mom with insurance in the state around $3,000.
According to the report, the state has the most OBGYNs per resident than any other state in the country -- per 100,000 New Jersey residents, there are 23 OBGYNs. That's 11.5 times more than the state with the fewest, Kansas -- with only two OBGYNs per 100,000.
Massachusetts ranked first, followed by Vermont and Minnesota. South Carolina finished last.
