More than 200 volunteers helped feed the less fortunate at a shore restaurant in Asbury Park on Christmas Day.
The annual tradition at Langosta Lounge began a decade ago. It has now grown to help serve more than 1,500 people from the greater Shore area. Lines began forming at sunrise on the boardwalk.
Santa and his helpers also helped pass out clothes and toys during the event.
Restaurant owner Marilyn Schlosseach says the special day has become a way of life for her family and the volunteers.
