3h agoA volunteer fire chief from Nutley is facing charges after trying to have sexual relations with a minor, prosecutors say.
News 12 New Jersey first reported about the situation with 33-year-old Henry Meola on Dec. 7 when a YouTube channel named OBL Nation released a video confronting Meola.
The YouTubers posed as a 14-year-old boy online. Meola allegedly contacted the decoy and arranged to meet for sex.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office says that Meola has been charged with one count of luring and attempted endangering the welfare of a child.
He is being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility ahead of a court appearance.
