Surprise inspections at New Jersey gas stations found violations at 22 locations, including two that were selling lower quality gasoline than advertised.
The stations were Runway Gas on Greenwood Avenue in Trenton and USA Gas on Landis Avenue in Vineland.
The state Division of Consumer Affairs conducted the inspections from June 11 to 27 at 371 stations throughout the state.
Violations at other locations included failure to show inspection certificates or not having security seals on gas pumps.
