New Jersey residents in and around Morristown may have noticed vintage aircraft flying in the skies Tuesday.
The "Wings of Freedom Tour" is being held at the Morristown Municipal Airport all this week.
The event is organized by the Collings Foundation, a nonprofit organization that tours the World War II aircraft all across the country.
Some of the aircraft featured at the event include a P-51 Mustang and a B-17 Fortress.
"What's really important is to get the kids out here. This is about giving the past a future," says Collings Foundation's Jamie Mitchell. "If [the children] are really lucky, they can see [the planes] fly or maybe fly in them if their parents are generous."
The "Wings of Freedom Tour" event runs through Friday.
