Some veterans in Bergen County received some extra assistance Tuesday.

Rep. Josh Gottheimer held a resources fair at the Bogota VFW hall. 

The fair featured several organizations that offer assistance to former men and women in uniform.

The organizations covered a wide range of services.

"We're out there and making sure that we put the right information out to everybody that has veterans in their families. And you never know what kind of information they're gonna need. This is why an event like this is very important,” says Ariel Jacob Luna, with Bergen County Veterans Services.

The fair also featured a panel where Gottheimer moderated discussion among northern New Jersey veterans and local resources.
