A Morris Plains man was charged with posting an online death threat against a political commentator.
The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey says Haim Braverman posted a video on social media on Sept. 10 where he allegedly threatened to kill the commentator with a baseball bat.
Officials say the commentator – who was not named – previously commented on a prominent now-deceased rabbi.
Braverman faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if convicted.
