Authorities: George Washington Bridge climber in custody
12h agoTransportation Security Administration officials at Newark Liberty International Airport arrested a Florida man after finding a revolver with four bullets in his carry-on bag.
Officials say the weapon was spotted when the bag went through the X-ray machine in Terminal C.
The traveler claimed he did not realize he had the loaded gun packed away.
In addition to being arrested, the man could face a fine up to $15,000.
Three guns have been confiscated at Newark Liberty Airport so far this year.
