Traffic was backed up for about five miles Friday after a tractor-trailer smashed into a sound barrier on the New Jersey Turnpike. The accident, which caused the truck's cab to burst into flames, occurred on the northbound side of the Turnpike near exit 12. Authorities say the unidentified driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick with minor injuries.
