Tropical Storm Fay clears out; New Jersey left drenched
Tropical Storm Fay made landfall in Atlantic City Friday afternoon, dousing the tri-state area with heavy rain and strong winds.
The storm created large waves and dangerous surf at the Jersey Shore, and flooding conditions all around the state. Tropical storm and flood warnings were issued for several parts of New Jersey.
The storm also knocked out power to thousands of New Jersey utility customers and toppled some trees and power lines.
Saturday is expected to see hazy, hot and humid weather conditions with a chance of thunderstorms late in the day. High temperatures will be in the upper-80s, and cool to the low-70s overnight.
Sunday will see mostly cloudy skies with another chance of thunderstorms. High temperatures will once again be in the upper-80s.
