A tribute was held Sunday to honor the NY Waterway crew that rescued passengers on the US Airways jet that crash landed in the Hudson River in January.
Barry Leonard, of Charlotte, N.C., says he fought his fear of flying to attend the event and thank the NY Waterway ferry crew who pulled him from the water and saved his life. Company founder Arthur Imperatore says ferry crews have rescued more than 200 people in the company's 23 years in business.
An NY Waterway spokesperson says the company hopes to make the ceremony an annual company event.
