The Trenton Police Department is looking for new people to join the force.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 35.

They must also have a state driver’s license and have a high school diploma, GED or a state of New Jersey equivalent certificate.

Candidates must also pass the physical fitness test, agency standards and a background check that includes criminal and driver history.

Those who are interested can apply on the Trenton police app through May 1. All applications are free.
