A traffic advisory is in effect for Kearny residents. Crews are working on emergency sewer repairs and it will continue on through the weekend.
If you're in the area, you may notice the street is sinking due to some sewer line issues. These lines need immediate attention. The section of Kearny that will be closed off is Wilson Avenue between Davis Avenue and Schuyler Avenue.
In the meantime, residents have an available lot to park in at the Kearny Hindu Temple. They are located at 156 Schuyler Ave. and are expecting residents to park there while these repairs are underway.
The city of Kearny posted to their social media saying they appreciate the patience of their residents while they work.
