Kevin Funchess, 59, was taken to a nearby hospital for shortness of breath and will be taken to Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing once cleared.

A Toms River man has been charged with aggravated arson for allegedly setting his apartment on fire in Winteringham Village, according to prosecutors.
Kevin Funchess, 59, was taken to a nearby hospital for shortness of breath and will be taken to Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing once cleared.
The fire was out by the time emergency crews arrived late Monday night on Route 166.
