News 12’s Toll of Commuting staff is looking back at a year worth of stories that that spotlight what New Jersey commuters face each day.

Amanda and Tom Krosnowski say what stands out most is how much planning and patience commuting requires, with people starting their days before sunrise and managing tight connections with little room for error.
