‘Jersey Shore’ star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's first day of freedom included a new photo on Instagram, and some food at his favorite pizza joint, according to TMZ.
Sorrentino posted on Instagram Thursday a photo of himself, his wife and dog after returning home, captioned, “"Living my best life with my beautiful wife."
According to TMZ, shortly after his return to New Jersey, he and his team stopped by his favorite pizza spot in Aberdeen, Denino's Pizza.
The reality star picked up two vodka pies, a cheese and tomato pie, a broccoli rabe and sausage pie, chicken fingers, fries and some fried shrimp.
The price of the bill was $133.
The 38-year-old reality TV star was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of tax evasion and admitted concealing his income in 2011 by making cash deposits in amounts that wouldn't trigger federal reporting requirements.
A federal judge had sentenced the star shortly after his brother, Marc Sorrentino, received a two-year sentence on a similar charge.
Sorrentino married his wife, Lauren, back in November.
He is a Manalapan High School graduate and lives in Long Branch.
He appeared on all six original seasons of the reality show from 2009 to 2012.
