Three suspects are accused of trying to steal nearly $600 worth of merchandise from a Target on Monday.

Surveillance footage shows three women enter the store on Berlin Cross Keys Road in Gloucester Township, Camden County at 5:30 p.m. Police say they gathered $581.29 of merchandise in a cart and tried to leave the store without paying.

Authorities say one of the suspects with a pink coat exited the store and parked a silver Jeep SUV, with an unknown temporary New Jersey license plate and spare front right tire, out front of the store. They say the other two suspects approached the register as if they were going to pay for the items but exited the front doors.

Police say a Target employee stopped the two suspects out front and retrieved the cart and merchandise as the suspects fled into the Jeep.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help with identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucester Township police at 856-228-4500 or call the GTPD Anonymous Crime Tip Line at 856-842-5560. Anonymous tips can made also be made here.
