An annual tradition that draws thousands of patriotic motorcyclists rolled through the Garden State Sunday.
The Rolling Thunder Ride for Freedom event remembers Vietnam veterans.
Riders started at Warinanco Park in Roselle before setting out on their journey 25 miles south to the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Holmdel.
The goal is to help find the missing in action and prisoners of war while honoring all veterans.
Once they arrived at the memorial, a wreath laying ceremony was held, along with talks from guest speakers.
There are 90 Rolling Thunder chapters around the world. There are 53 members in this New Jersey chapter and nearly 10,000 worldwide. Last year, Rolling Thunder's Memorial Day ride in D.C. had over 1 million riders, the single largest motorcycle event in the world.
