In New Jersey, tuition and fees range from nearly $16,000 a year at William Paterson to higher costs at Rutgers, and much more at Princeton.
Now, families are preparing to celebrate.
A backyard party setup with a tent, tables, and chairs could cost around $520. Add balloons for about $200, alcohol for 50 guests at $150, and food for the group at $500. That brings the total to roughly $1,370.
