New Jersey will see temperatures continue to rise throughout the week, with highs reaching 90 by Friday.
Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that they are also tracking some rainy conditions for the end of the week and through the weekend.
WHAT’S NEXT: Air quality issues are expected to remain into Thursday due to the smoke from wildfires in Nova Scotia. Temperatures will rise for Thursday and Friday and then cool down for the weekend. Rain is expected Friday afternoon and evening, with more widespread rain Saturday into Sunday.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny. Temperatures expected to reach the mid-80s. Overnight in the 60s.
FRIDAY: A good deal of sunshine, but there could be a few showers that pop up in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures expected to reach 90 degrees. Overnight lows cool to the low-60s.
SATURDAY: Cloudy with some sunshine peeking through and a couple of showers. Daytime highs around 73 degrees. Overnight lows around 51.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with daytime highs in the low-70s. Some rain is possible. Overnight lows around 54.
COMING UP: Temperatures will be in the upper-70s for most of the upcoming week. Conditions will start partly cloudy, with more sunshine arriving for the end of the week.
