It's a nice day with highs near 44 degrees under a mostly sunny sky. The wind is calm, but it picks up later today with an occasional gust up to 25 mph.
The wind becomes gusty through Tuesday with highs that struggle to get above the freezing mark in most places. The cold weather settles in for the midweek - Tuesday through Thursday with gusty conditions. The wind won't be as strong as it was last week, but it does create a harsh feel-like temperature for the mornings this week.
There could be a windswept flurry on Thursday afternoon and evening north and west of NJ, maybe blowing into Sussex and Warren counties.
The wind relaxes by Friday as temperatures moderate back to near normal, near 40 degrees.
The weekend will feature a chance for rain showers, likely on Saturday evening and it continues into Sunday. There is limited chance for wintry precipitation at this time.
