A 17-year-old from Newark was arrested after a shooting outside an Applebee's in Linden around midnight Sunday, though three other suspects remain at large, police said.

Authorities reported that four men entered the restaurant searching for a target, chased him outside, and fired shots.

The intended victim escaped unharmed. Police apprehended the teen after a brief chase and recovered two guns during the arrest.

The identities and ages of the three fleeing suspects are unknown.

The 17-year-old faces multiple charges related to the incident.
