A police sergeant will not face charges after a crash that killed a 19-year-old woman in Sussex County.
Sgt. William Grissom was driving on Route 23 in Franklin Borough during the early morning hours in May of 2024. A black car left the ShopRite parking lot, appearing to go around stopped traffic.
The police cruiser T-boned the car, killing Deanna D'Arco, who was in the front passenger seat. She died two days later.
A grand jury is not moving ahead with any crime, according to prosecutors.
