Investigators recently released surveillance video from inside the Irvington store where a man was gunned down last month.
Prosecutors say the gunman is seen on the video entering the store at approximately 1:45 p.m. and walking past the victim, storeowner Willie ?Dwight? Cousar, who is exiting the building. Investigators say a chase between the suspect and the victim, which was not released on video, ensued. Cousar was shot multiple times in the back. He then stumbled outside where he died in the street a few feet away from a preschool.
Investigators say Cousar had a criminal record. They say he is tied to the largest cash seizure in Passaic County history. According to authorities, $500,000 was taken from a safe house Cousar ran in Haledon.
Authorities are still searching for the gunman.
