While all meteorological eyes are on Florida and tracking Hurricane Milton - New Jersey's weather is the complete opposite. Amicable and autumn-like.
Unfortunately, the dry stretch continues which will allow the drought to continue to expand and worsen through the area. It doesn't look like we will see measurable rainfall for at least 10, possibly 14 days.
Clear skies the next few nights and light winds may allow for widespread frost development in communities in Northwestern parts of New Jersey on Thursday and Friday morning. That's about the only thing we are keeping an eye on in our weather backyard for the next few days.
Sunny skies and seasonable temps for the remainder of the work/school week. Daily highs will be in the mid- to upper-60s, which is right where they should be for this time of year.
The weekend is filled with sunshine. Saturday looks especially mild with daily high temps peaking in the mid-70s.
