OVERNIGHT: Clouds Tuesday evening give way to mostly clear overnight skies. Lows around 61 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: Warmer and more humid than Tuesday. Daytime highs around 84 degrees. Sunshine will fade behind some clouds as a system moves in from the Great Lakes. Overnight lows around 67 degrees.
THURSDAY: First day of autumn. Overcast skies with early rain showers and storms. News 12 forecasters say the bulk of the weather will happen between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Heavy rain, lighting and gusty winds are expected. Daytime highs around 77, overnight lows around 53.
FRIDAY: Gusty winds with a fall-like feel. Mix of sun and clouds with daytime highs around 66 degrees. Overnight lows around 49.
SURF REPORT: Hurricane Fiona is now considered a major hurricane with 115 mph winds. The storm will cause conditions at the Jersey Shore to be rough. Risk of rip currents may be an issue.
