yesterdayPolice officials in Summit are investigating a burglary and an attempted break-in.
Officials say officers received word about a burglary at a home on Warwick Road around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
They say the thieves came into the house overnight through an unlocked garage. The thieves stole a purse and gym back and later tried to use stolen credit cards.
Police also received a report of an attempted break-in at a home on Twombly Drive.
