A new study shows a 30-cent increase in cash gifts from the Tooth Fairy, with children in New Jersey and other parts of the Northeast making the most money.
According to the study done by Delta Dental, children in the region get an average of $4.35 per tooth, while the average sits at $4.03 per tooth.
The Midwest region finished in last, with children only getting $3.71 per tooth.
The Original Tooth Fairy Poll was conducted between Dec. 30, 2019, and Jan. 11, 2020, among a nationally representative sample of 1,000 parents of children ages 6 to 12 years old.
