A study from WalletHub has found New Jersey is the 18th most charitable state in the U.S.
Factors considered in the study include highest volunteer rate, percentage of income donated, and most charities per capita.
The most charitable state in the country is Minnesota, followed by Utah and New York.
The least charitable state is Nevada, followed by Rhode Island and Arizona.
The World Giving Index ranked the U.S. 4th out of 140 countries around the world.
