Police increase reward for information on missing Bridgeton girl

New Jersey State Police unions are offering $10,000 to increase the reward for information about the disappearance of 5-year-old Dulce Maria Alavez.
The additional money now brings the reward to $52,000 for information about what happened to the child, who went missing from Bridgeton City Park last month.
Police say that despite the ongoing investigation, they do not have any strong leads in the case.
Alavez went missing from the Cumberland County park Sept. 16. Police say that it is possible that the child was taken from the park by a light-skinned, possibly Hispanic man driving a red vehicle.
Anyone who may have information about Alavez’s disappearance should contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI and select option 4, then select option 8.
