Storms force some NJ communities to reschedule July 4 fireworks displays

The National Weather Service says there's a thunderstorm watch is in effect for several counties in the Garden state, including Middlesex County.

Saturday night's impending stormy weather has caused some New Jersey communities to the postpone their Fourth of July fireworks events.
The National Weather Service says there's a thunderstorm watch is in effect for several counties in the Garden state, including Middlesex County.
Asbury Park's fireworks display has been rescheduled to Sunday.
Both Perth Amboy and South Amboy, where fireworks were to return over the Raritan Bay after the pandemic, also moved their shows to Sunday evening.
