Storm Watch Team meteorologists say that the storms are expected Thursday evening going into Friday. Thunder, lightning and wind gusts of up to 50 mph are possible.
Wednesday night will see mostly cloudy skies, with temperatures in the mid-40s.
Thursday will start off with a mix of sun and clouds, with high temperatures around 63 degrees. The weather will start to turn stormy around 9 p.m. Heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong wind gusts are expected. Power outages and property damage will be a concern.
The storm is expected to last into Friday morning and may impact the morning commute. Friday will start off warm, with temperatures in the upper-50s. But temperatures will quickly drop, with temperatures in the 40s by the afternoon. Friday afternoon will see some sun and breezy conditions. Overnight lows will be around 27 degrees.
The weekend is expected to see seasonal weather. Saturday is expected to be breezy with some stray snow flurries but otherwise should be mostly sunny. Sunday is also expected to be mostly sunny with temperatures in the low-40s.
