News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers say heavier rain is likely to begin in New Jersey during the afternoon and evening hours.
SUNDAY: Cloudy with periods of rain and storms after 7:30/8 a.m. This round of rain brings more organized cells after 11 a.m. into the evening. Some storms could just miss us and skirt east or west of state in the later half of the day. Highs near 62. Lows near 53.
MONDAY: Clouds and sunshine with slightly warmer temps. Highs near 63. Lows near 47.
TUESDAY: Some sun with clouds and a chance for showers with 60 degrees. Lows near 45.
WEDNESDAY: Cooler into the 50s. shower chances again. Highs near 59. Lows near 45.
THURSDAY: Pick of the week material! Warming up again! Into the low 60s with sunshine! Lows near 47.
FRIDAY - CINCO DE MAYO: Even spicier! with 66 degrees, sun and clouds mix. Highs near seasonal with overnight lows near 49.
