SUNDAY: As we get into late evening Sunday, storms roll in. What begins as light showers will intensify into stronger downpours and some isolated chances of some lightning and thunder. The worst of these moves through between 10 pm and 2 a.m. Wind starts overnight and amps up as we get into our Sunday. Gusts in the 20-40 mph range are likely. We could see low levels of flash flooding as well – especially areas with poor drainage or blocked drains. Always avoid driving through floodwaters.
MONDAY: St. Patrick's Day is unfortunately getting a wet start and showers hang on throughout the day. The majority of the day will continue to see gray and dreary conditions and on and off showers. Rain moves out by later in the evening and we will see bettering conditions for the tail end of Monday through Wednesday.
FIRST DAY OF SPRING: Thursday is the first day of spring and brings with it a chance of some spring-like precipitation, but we will enjoy the above average temperatures we are experiencing and a few drier days until then.
Temperatures will be well above average this week, mainly seeing the middle to higher 50s and lower 60s. The end of the week could see a plunge in temperatures, back to the 40s.
