STORM WATCH: Stray rain or snow showers tonight; tracking Saturday snow

Any snow that falls Thursday night won’t accumulate on the ground. Saturday could see an inch or two.

A fast-moving system dips into the area later tonight. A few nuisance rain or snow showers may slide through. New Jersey won't see any accumulations - not even a coating is expected. This weather maker doesn't bring much moisture, but it will bring in a reinforcing shot of chillier air.
While we are keeping tabs on the "clipper" for tonight, there is a better opportunity for snow Friday night into Saturday morning. We will likely wake up with a fresh coating-to an inch or two of snow. This isn't going to be a significant storm, but coming home late on Friday night, you might see some snow showers making the roads slippery.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for southern New Jersey from Friday night through Saturday morning.
The second half of the weekend looks fabulous. Lots of sunshine but on the chillier side.
The weather next week looks quiet.
FORECAST
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs around 44. Overnight lows around 31. Snowy weather moves in overnight into Saturday morning.
SATURDAY: Snow in the morning, which should clear out by around 10 a.m. Daytime highs around 42. Overnight lows around 28.
SUNDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Daytime highs around 44. Overnight lows dip to 30.
MONDAY: President’s Day. Plenty of sunshine with mild temperatures in the upper-40s. Overnight lows drop to the low-30s.
