Cold weather continues today with afternoon temperatures reaching near freezing across the state.
There will be sun, but it gives way to clouds tomorrow. It remains mostly cloudy for tomorrow with rain and freezing rain mix overnight from 9 p.m. through 2 a.m. Wednesday. There will be some slick spots as the ground is very cold and some of the rain will freeze into ice with an impact to the ground. Temperatures hover near the freezing mark through the day and overnight. Wednesday's temperatures feel better as a result.
The temperatures continue to warm toward the weekend and for next week with highs in the lower 40s. The weather pattern looks to loosen up the intensity of the cold, allowing for highs and lows to come closer to the freezing mark next week.
