STORM WATCH: Heavy rain, snow expected to impact Wednesday evening commute

New Jersey will see a wet evening commute on Wednesday, with rain and snow impacting most of the state.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the snow will mostly impact areas of the state north of Interstate 78. He says that while several inches of snow are possible, the accumulation shouldn’t stick too much on roadways.
WHAT’S NEXT: Snow begins around 10 a.m. and last until around 4 p.m. Wednesday for areas of North Jersey. Rain begins to fall for the rest of the state for most of the afternoon and evening. Heavy rain will be possible at times and is expected to impact the evening commute. Thunderstorms and road ponding area possible.
OVERNIGHT: Overcast skies with temperatures cooling to the low-30s.
WEDNESDAY: Rain and snow for most of the day. Daytime highs around 45 degrees. Lows around 30.
THURSDAY: Mix of sun and clouds with daytime highs around 48 degrees. Overnight lows around 39.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with some sun. Daytime highs around 41 degrees. Overnight lows around 31.
WEEKEND: Mix of sun and clouds, with some rain possible by Sunday. Temperatures in the upper-40s with overnight lows in the low- to mid-30s.
