The field for the race for New Jersey’s next governor is getting more crowded.
Republican state Sen. Jon Bramnick announced his candidacy on Saturday. Bramnick is the former state Assembly minority leader.
Other Republicans expected to join the race include former state Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli – who lost to Gov. Phil Murphy by just three points in the last election – and radio host Bill Spadea.
Democrats already in the race include Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop and former state Senate President Steve Sweeney. Other Democrats are expected to join the race.
