State police: Several people injured when van crashes into tree on I-195

New Jersey State Police say that at least four people were injured when a passenger van veered off Interstate 195 in Upper Freehold and crashed into a tree.

New Jersey State Police say that at least four people were injured when a passenger van veered off Interstate 195 in Upper Freehold and crashed into a tree.
The crash happened after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Police say that 10 passengers were inside the van at the time. Four people were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Parts of I-195 were closed for a time for the cleanup and investigation of the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, but the roadways were icy Wednesday morning after some light snow and rain late Tuesday evening.
