State police are searching for a man who they say tried to lure a young boy into his car in Dorchester on Sunday.
Troopers say the man offered a 7-year-old boy candy in the bathroom of a Wawa to convince the boy to leave with him around noon.
The boy said no, and police say the man grabbed his arm and tried to take him, but the boy got away. The suspect fled the scene. It is unclear what kind of car he was in.
