NJ State Police: Infant missing from East Orange found safe

An infant girl who was reported missing from East Orange has been found safe, according to the New Jersey State Police.

An infant girl who was reported missing from East Orange has been found safe, according to the New Jersey State Police.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert Monday afternoon for Chinna Payne who was last seen with 27-year-old Damion Payne.
Damion Payne was last seen driving a white 2016 Nissan Altima, and was allegedly armed with a handgun.
Family members say that the incident began with an altercation at the baby's mother's home.
The baby was found safe less than an hour later. Payne was taken into custody.
Police have not yet released the circumstances surrounding the incident.
