State police say a driver was
killed following an accident on Interstate 80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills.
The accident happened
Monday just before 10 p.m. in the westbound lanes.
According to state police,
the driver of a Nissan Pathfinder veered off
the left side of the highway, into the center median and then struck several
trees. The car then caught on fire.
State police say the driver was trapped in the vehicle, and died at the scene.
The cause of
the crash is unknown at this time.
