A vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Englishtown overnight, snapping the pole in half and bringing down wires.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Tennent Avenue between McDonald Way and Irving Place. The damaged pole caused wires to fall, and the road remained closed Thursday morning.
Officials say the vehicle involved did not strike a nearby home and has since been removed from the scene.
There is no word on the driver's condition, whether anyone was injured or what caused the crash.
