One person was killed and another was seriously injured after a wrong-way crash in Warren County, according to police.

State police say a car was driving eastbound on I-78 in the westbound lanes when it crashed into a tractor-trailer just before 3 a.m. Saturday in the borough of Alpha.

They say the 22-year-old driver of that car was killed, and a passenger was seriously injured. 

All three westbound lanes were closed for about five hours.
