Stamford mayor reflects on one-year anniversary of coronavirus in Connecticut

Stamford Mayor David Martin is reflecting on the one-year anniversary of the first resident contracting coronavirus in Connecticut.
The first resident contracted the virus on March 8, 2020.
Martin says it's been like a roller coaster and we're not off the ride yet, but it looks like we're going to get there.
Martin says Stamford was hit hard by the virus due to its close location near New York City.
He says his city has been fighting since day one, and that Stamford was planning before the first official case was reported in the state.
Martin says he believes there will be a strong economic recovery post-pandemic, but urges everyone to keep their arms inside the roller coaster as the ride still isn't over.
